Cheddar Cheese

Cheddar Cheese joined the family in July 2008. He had been a regular visitor to the house since about 2006, when I started putting food out for what I thought were strays. I soon learned that all these strays lived next door. Then the family next door moved away and abandoned the cats outside. When he arrived, he had a gash on his forehead, probably from a fight. He quickly became friends with our existing cats, and now is an integral part of the family. He was named by a friend who took one look and said, "He looks like a block of cheddar cheese."
